The Propeller Club, Port of Piraeus held its annual pitta cutting ceremony on 27 January 2025 at the Grande Bretagne hotel in Athens, gathering together 400 guests and prominent figures from politics, the shipping industry, the Hellenic Coast Guard and diplomatic representatives from the U.S.
Among the evening's highlights was the recognition of nine past Presidents, including Nicolas Tsavliris, in honour of their invaluable contributions.
Propeller Club's Piraeus President, Costis Frangoulis stated that 2025 is a historic milestone, as the Club achieved the number of more than 1,000 members and completed 90 years of presence in Greece. "The club is an institution that promotes shipping and cooperation between Greece and America," he stressed.
